The Arts & Entertainment Conference takes place every two years and this is the third time I’ve photographed the amazing weekend. It’s a christian conference for artists & entertainers as well as any person who has ever been affected by the arts and understands its power. It is for ANYONE who has dreams of wielding this power for God’s glory, to empower our youth, our cities, and the world! This year’s conference theme was SHREWD, based on Matthew 10:16 and Luke 16:8. The 3 day event in Atlanta ,Georgia Sept. 13th-15th was about God-fearing people becoming more shrewd in dealing with those in God’s kingdom and those outside. The workshops, sermons, parties, fashion shows, networking and performances were simply amazing!
I feel so incredibly honored to have been the official photographer for the conference as well as getting to speak on one of the panel discussions. There were so many incredible people that came from all over the US and beyond. I loved getting to catch up with old friends that I hadn’t seen since the last conference and also I got to meet a ton of new friends! The classes and workshops were amazing and I learned a ton. I was so blown away by everyone that served and worked so hard behind the scenes to make it such an incredible weekend. There were also a ton of awesome performances throughout the weekend. The place was jam packed with a ridiculous amount of really talented people… all deeply desiring to use their talents to bring glory to God. How cool is that!? I was so impacted! Please consider coming to the next conference in 2015 in Atlanta, GA – people were there from all different industries: writers, actors, models, filmmakers, cartoonists, artists, dancers, photographers, singers, rappers, news anchors, radio broadcasters, worship team members, fashion designers, shoe & accessory designers and many more! You can check out all the action on the facebook page HERE.
